For my first ever blogpost I want to show you some of the products I've been loving recently.

Mac lipstick in 'Creme Cup'

I was never really a nude lipstick kinda girl, but the past few months I've been loving Creme Cup. It has a cremesheen finish, which I really enjoy as it is pretty pigmented and has a subtle sheen to it, hence the name. The only downside with this one is that it can be a tad drying, so make sure to use a lipbalm before applying.

Ich war nie ein großer Fan von Nude Lippenstiften, aber in den letzten Monaten habe ich Creme Cup wirklich gern getragen. Die Pigmentierung ist gut und das Finish ist leicht glänzend, aber keinesfalls glossig. Der einzige Nachteil bei diesem Lippenstift ist, dass er leicht austrocknend wirkt, also benutze ich vorher immer eine Lippenpflege.


Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

I have to say I absolutely adore this little palette! I picked it up when I was in Milan last summer and have used it all the time ever since. It's the perfect collection of matte nudey shades and all you need for an everyday makeup. It's great for traveling too, as you can use the black shade as eyeliner.

Seit ich dieses kleine Schmuckstück letztes Jahr in Mailand gekauft habe, habe ich sie regelmäßig benutzt und wirklich lieb gewonnen. Die Zusammenstellung der matten Nudetöne ist perfekt für natürliches Alltagsmakeup, wodurch sie sich auch für Reisen eignet.

KIKO Softtouch Blush 109

Kiko do some of the best budget blushes out there, hands down. In february I've been loving this warm pink shade because it's pigmented, blendable and matt, without looking chalky.

Kiko macht meiner Meinung nach mit die besten Blushes im niedrigeren Preissegment. Im Februar habe ich besonders diese Farbe gern getragen. Die Pigmentierung ist super und obwohl das Blush matt ist, lässt es sich super auf der Haut verblenden, das Finish wirkt sehr natürlich.


Essie Good to Go

I used to paint my nails about once a month, max. Why, you ask? Because I hate waiting around for an hour until my nailpolish has finally dried. But since this little gem walked into my life, things have changed. It makes nailpolish dry within minutes and gives a super glossy finish. I like!

Früher habe ich mir fast nie die Nägel lackiert, vielleicht einmal im Monat. Warum? Weil ich es hasse, ewig warten zu müssen, bis der Lack endlich getrocknet ist. Seit dieser geniale Topcoat in mein Leben getreten ist, lackiere ich mir die Fingernägel viiieel öfter. Der Nagellack trocknet innerhalb weniger Minuten durch und das Finish ist sehr glänzend. I like!


Maybelline 'The Rocket' mascara

For the past few years I only ever used Max Factor mascaras and I've never been disappointed by them so far. But a few weeks ago I was doing a little drugstore shopping and threw this in my basket. It gives my lashes volume without making them look clumpy, but lacks in the lengthening department. Thankfully my lashes are quite long to start with, so this doesn't really bother me. The only thing I dislike about this is the smudging I experience after a few hours, especially on the lower lashes. I'm hoping this will get better when the formula dries out a bit, because I really do like this mascara.

Ich glaube, ich habe die letzten zwei Jahre wirklich durchgehend Max Factor Mascaras verwendet und war durchweg zufrieden. Vor einigen Wochen war ich bei DM und habe die 'The Rocket' Mascara auf gut Glück mitgenommen. Sie gibt eine ordentliche Portion Volumen, allerdings nicht besonders viel Länge. Das macht mir persönlich aber nicht so viel aus, da ich von Natur aus relativ lange Wimpern habe. Das einzige, was mich wirklich stört, ist dass ich nach einigen Stunden einen kleinen Anflug von Pandaaugen bekomme, auch wenn ich nur die oberen Wimpern getuscht habe. Ich hoffe, dass hört auf, wenn die Mascara ein bisschen eintrocknet, dann wäre sie nämlich für mich nahezu perfekt.
